Jazz for Justice

Take six different musicians from five different religions, four cultures, three nationalities and two generations and you’re guaranteed a great night out. Massel-Tov, an internationally renowned group, have revived traditional eastern European Klezmer music and injected it with their own inimitable style to bring it into the modern era.

On October 13, Jazzbar Vogler, one of Munich’s coolest jazz venues, will present the Massel-Tov Trio, the scaled-down version of the group, in support of the Amnesty International English-Speaking Group. The group actively campaigns for, amongst other issues, an investigation into the murders of more than 400 women near the Mexican border town of Ciudad Juarez.

Tickets cost € 6. Proceeds go to Amnesty International. Doors open at 7 pm. For more information call Sandra at Tel. 62 42 18 55, write to sandra@stoller.de or see www.amnesty-muenchen.de/1454/html/Main.htm.
