Say What?

Take the word “speaking,” put it together with “eating,” and you’ve got “Speating,” a new language-learning concept that involves practicing a foreign language over a meal. Several such events are happening this month, for those at various levels, looking to improve their German, Italian, French or Spanish. Each takes place over a meal at Le Barestovino in Lehel, Thierschstrasse 35, starts at 7:30 pm and lasts about three hours. The evening costs € 99 per person and includes all food and drink. There’s room at each Speating event for twelve people. Reservations are mandatory, and can be made either by calling Tel. 751 99 71 43 or dropping an e-mail to info@difz.de. Here’s the scoop on Speating for February:

February 3: Spanish for beginners
February 4: Intermediate Spanish
