Kids go wild in Poing

Do you find throwing birthday parties for the kids too stressful? Struggling to find something for the whole family to do on weekends? Pack a nice picnic basket, head to Poing’s wildlife park, and enjoy an absolutely relaxing day. Though it’s just a short hop to the east of Munich, the park gives the impression you’re really out in the wilds. And, that is exactly the park’s intention—to give the animals as natural a habitat as possible. You’ll find deer, wild cats, wild bears, boars and wolves and much more at the park, open daily from 9 am until 5 pm. There are also regular birds of prey shows. Because visitors can walk among many of the animals, dogs are not permitted, even on a lead. Admission costs € 5.50 for adults and € 3.50 for children. To get to the park, take the S2 in the direction of Erding and disembark at the Poing stop. The park is a 20-minute walk along the main street, then follow the signs.
