April 2008

Antiques & Audio Solutions

This month, two fairs will present high quality items to make daily life a slightly more extravagant experience. From April 12 through April 20, the Kunst & Antiquitäten fair will sell furniture, craftwork and a broad selection of antique objects, from baroque and art deco to classical modernism. All art and antiques have been examined by an expert jury guaranteeing the authenticity of the items on display. The fair will take place at Paulaner am Nockherberg (Hochstr. 77) and will be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm. On Wednesday, opening hours are extended to 9 pm. Tickets cost € 6, or € 4 for students. For more information, see www.kunst-antiquitaeten.de.
While the antique fair is a good chance to break with the homogenous look of IKEA furniture, High End will offer High Fidelity solutions that bring crisp and outstanding music to living rooms. From April 25 to April 27, High End will delight audiophiles with a presentation of sound technologies rarely found in common HiFi stores. The fair at MOC Center Munich Freimann (near U6 Kieferngarten) will be open from 10 am to 6 pm on both days. Tickets cost € 10. For more information on exhibitors, see www.highendsociety.de. <<<
