Minor Convenience

Shopping with children is seldom enjoyable and yet sometimes a trip into town is unavoidable. So, what is the solution for harassed parents faced with a long slog around the shops and no grandparents around to babysit? Well, the Münchner Kindl is a child-minding service that looks after children while parents are busy in town. Located at Burgstrasse 6, just behind the Rathaus, Münchner Kindl offers children a huge selection of toys and games to play with, as well as special activities in the holiday season such as singing and dancing and baking (and most of the helpers speak at least a little English). Parents pay € 4.50 per hour for the service and all children aged between 18 months and 10 years are welcome. Opening hours are weekdays 8.30 am to 7 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm. For more information visit the Web site at www.muenchnerkindlgruppe.de or call (089) 24 23 16 00.
