All that Jazz
Two big events for jazz fans this month—the first, an homage to jazz legend Louis Armstrong, which will be held on February 18. The concert, which takes place in the Schlossberghalle in Starnberg, features Joe Wulf and the Gentlemen of Swing—a band made up of top-class performers from around the world. Closer to home, Munich’s “Jazz im Gärtnerplatz” season begins on February 25 with a performance by Italian Roberto di Gioia, whose work combines elements of nu-jazz with electronic lounge pop and Burt Bacharach.
