On the Scent
Ah, there’s nothing like a breath of fresh mountain air. Be it the scent of grassy, fresh pastures, the aroma of wooden mountain huts, the smell of alpine cheese or even the stench of those cows, every inhalation has a story to tell. And it is these stories that are the focus of a new exhibition in Munich’s Alpines Museum on the Praterinsel. At “Mit der Nase in die Berge” visitors can sniff their way through
the history and culture of the Alps and build up an even greater understanding
of the natural wonders on our doorstep.
The exhibition runs from March 17
until February next year and is open Tues.–Fri., 1 pm–6 pm and on Sat.
and Sun., 11 am–6 pm. Admission costs € 3 or € 2 for concessions. <<<
