Kimono Art
Some people use canvas to express their artistic emotions—others use, well, clothes. This month, the Galerie für Angewandte Kunst at Pacellistrasse 8 is featuring an exhibition of kimono art by Ulrike Isensee. Instead of envisaging the Japanese garments as clothes, the designer uses them as wallhangings to show off a range
of artistic textile techniques. The
exhibition is open from 10 am to 6 pm, Mon.–Fri. For more information see
