Occupying Space
Bizarre, ridiculous, fascinating … call it what you will: the current collection of works on show at the Haus der Kunst is certainly getting people talking. Entitled “Occupying Space,” the exhibition features works from the collection of the Vienna-based Generali Foundation, which was set up in 1988 to promote contemporary art. Ranging from conceptual and performance art from the 1960s and 1970s to work by younger artists, the collection focuses on photography, film and video installations.
On show in Munich until
May 16, the exhibition will travel on to the Netherlands
and eastern Europe. See

for more details. The
Haus der Kunst is
open Mon.–Sun.,
10 am–8 pm and Thurs.,
10 am–10 pm. <<<
