Flower Power
There’s a veritable forest of special events taking place at the German national garden show (BUGA) this month. Check out the photo exhibition “The Eros of Flowers,” which takes place at the Kulturforum of the show, an exhibition on the use of packaging in nature in the Deutsche Pavillon or an orchid display in Blumenhalle 1. Treats for the ears include “Big Band goes Buga” on May 4, when bands from schools across the region will be performing in the Arena, and “Hail the Heavens” the following day, featuring choir performances of everything from Baroque to Gospel.
