Königsplatz full of stars
Königsplatz will take on a true regal status this summer, offering a host of magnificent open-air events. For starters, audiences will be enchanted on July 9 and 10 by performances of
Carmen and
Evita, respectively. Then, on July 17, world-class soprano Anna Netrebko and tenor Ramón Vargas will join together for a passionate classical concert. On July 23 and 24, German rock, pop and hip-hop bands take to the stage for the “Oben Ohne” concert. And for those who prefer movies, the annual “Kino Open Air” (July 25–August 1) will feature the latest box-office hits, such as
Star Wars—Episode III or
Million Dollar Baby (check
