Stringing Along
Weapons at the ready! On July 8 Munich will play host to a duel of the non-traditional sort—namely between guitar and violin. The spectacle will take place on Königsplatz, where Orsino, known as the fastest guitar player in the world, and violinist La Spada will present a spectacular musical show with interpretations of film music, as well as works by Vivaldi, Paganini and many more. The duelers will be supported by the Orchestra of the German Philharmonics, the soprano La Sciabola and many other guests. The unique event will be capped off with a fireworks display.
