Snappy Shots
Love photography? Then don’t miss two exhibitions in Munich this month. The first, at the Haus der Kunst, features 164 black-and-white works by landscape photographer Robert Adams. The pictures, which are being displayed for the first time, document the transformation of the American West from a natural into a cultural landscape. If you haven’t already been, don’t hang about—the exhibition runs only until September 25. There’s an equally impressive set of prints on show at the Museum Mensch und Natur at Nymphenburg Palace. Some 90 pictures, all of them entries in the BBC-sponsored Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, are on show until October 15. <<<
