Express Yourself
An exhibition devoted to one of Germany’s most celebrated Expressionist artists, Franz Marc, is expected to draw crowds to Munich. Some 270 works, belonging to collectors from around the world, are going on display in the Kunstbau at the Lenbachhaus from September 17 to January 6, in a unique, one-off exhibition, sponsored by energy company E.ON. Born in Munich in 1880, Marc was a founding figure of the Blue Rider artists’ group, along with his contemporary Wassily Kandinsky. He is renowned for his use of color and for his pioneering, abstract images. For more information on the exhibition, see
