December 2005
Swedish art
The Kunsthalle is putting a Nordic spin on things this Christmas. Throughout December and January, the museum will host an exhibition of works by Swedish artist, Carl Larsson. Born in 1853, Larsson is one of the country’s most popular artists and many of his works can be seen as a protest against what he considered a “soulless society.” In addition to his paintings, furniture and textiles from Larsson’s home will be on view.
