Great Photographs
Want to catch a great photography exhibition for free? Then head to the Instituto Cervantes at Marstallplatz (Alfons-Goppel-Strasse 7), which is featuring the works of Ramón Masats. A pionier of photographic reportage in the mid-20th century,
Masats is renowned for his geometrical, black-and-white pictures of motifs ranging from bullfights to landscapes. He only reluctantly accepts that what he produces is art: “For me, photography is just hard work,” says Masats.
The exhibition runs until March 31.
