Down in the Bard-en
Whether it was the elves hiding in acorn cups in
A Midsummer Night’s Dream, or the crown of wild flowers worn by the king in
King Lear, Shakespeare’s works are littered with references to plants. You can now discover the botanical side to the bard on April 9, with a special tour at the Botanical Gardens at Nymphenburg Palace. The tour starts at 10 am, and participants should meet at the entrance to the greenhouse. Entrance to the gardens costs € 4 for adults, and € 3 for concessions. For more information, see
