Munich Piano Summer
The ivories will be tickled all over Munich during the 25th annual Münchner Klavier-
sommer (Munich Piano Summer) festival, held from July 11 to 28. A collaborative effort of LOFT, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, MünchenMusik, the Bavarian State Opera and the Jazzclub
Unterfahrt, the concert series will include an international cavalcade of artists—such as Chick Corea, Jose Luis Cortes and his band, Freddy Cole (pictured here), Arturo Sandoval and Huun-Huur-Tu—performing jazz, classical, rock, salsa, Brazilian pop, Mongolian music and more.
