Barry White's 'Love Makin' Music'
A surrogate godfather of sorts for many born in the 1970s, disco singer Barry White was indisputably known as “Mr. Love.” On October 3, at 8pm at Circus Krone, Eric Conley will bring the unmistakable velvet bass—silenced since White´s death in 1993—back to the stage in the concert, “EC Tribute to Barry White.” Thirty-five additional musicians will constitute his own “Love Unlimited Orchestra.” There'’s no telling what you’ll do for your own second act, but one thing’s for sure: With such songs as “Can't Get Enough of Your Love Babe,” “Oh, What a Night for Dancing” and “I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More” in the air, you’ll definitely have butterflies in your stomach.
