The Colors of Light
Artist Gerdi Gutperle describes her creative process as “the sparkling of a source.” The same definition could apply to her paintings, which explore vibrant colors through organic shapes. Gutperle’s unique “paint, print, paint” technique allows her to explore all of the dimensions of her subjects. Some of these vivid works will make their Munich debut, from October 9–20, in the exhibition “Colors of Light,” to be held at the HVB Kunst Palais (Prannerstr. 2). Gutperle’s proceeds, as always, will benefit the Agasthiyar Muni Child Care Center in Tamil Nadu, India, and tsunami victims in that region.
