Folk Musik from the Emerald Isle
On October 21, at 8 pm, Munich’s fans of traditional music will enjoy their tunes tuba-free at the Irish Folk Festival 2006. Many traditional music groups, including Arcanadh—the 2005 Irish Music Awards’ “Best Traditional Newcomer”—will perform at Circus Krone in a “Tribute to the Galway Hooker Boats.” Nothing scandalous here—the boats are traditional forms of transport on Ireland’s West Coast.
