The Rat Pack’s Back
Though musicians by profession, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. are perhaps better known for the impeccably stylish way they lived. The “Rat Pack” flair, a combinaton of fashion, humor and chemistry that defined an era, continues to influence a cavalcade of modern celebrities, such as Harry Connick Jr., Robbie Williams and George Clooney, to name but a very few. The musical “The Rat Pack Live from Vegas,” to be performed at the Deutsches Theater from October 10–29, will give both the nostalgic and the uninitiated a taste of the bygone bad boys. Three actors, fifteen orchestra members and several dancers will recreate a performance given by the trio at the Sands Hotel in the 1960s, replete with famous songs, jokes and whiskey aplenty. The show will be performed Tuesday through Saturday, at 8 pm, and as matinees on Saturdays at 3:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm and 7 pm. Tickets range from € 19 to 59. For more information, visit
