Festival Dances
On Novemebr 12, at 7 pm, Munich's tenth annual Dance Festival (covered in our October edition) will end with a new beginning--the presentation of two world premieres by the Ballettheater Muenchen at the Staatstheater am Gaertnerplatz. Parisian dance icon Carolyn Carlson will present a piece on the theme of separation, British choreographer Richard Alston will present Sheer Bravado and American Philip Glass will present a Japanese-influenced work called Sacred Space. These performances will be repeated sporadically until January 30, 2007. A full schedule is available at
