Tap Your Toes with Nina Hagen
On November 3, at 8 pm, Nina Hagen & the Capital dance orchestra will perform jazz and swing standards, including "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Summertime," at Prinzregententheater. No, that's not a typo. After the success of Hagen's 2004 album "Big Band Explosion," the snarling and shrieking queen of punk has released "Irgendwo auf der Welt," an ode to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald the Andrew Sisters and other artists from the 1920s to the 1950s.
