Ben Harper at Zenith
Like other cult artists, such as Dead Prez, lesser-known singer-songwriter Ben Harper has fallen victim to the a pronounced lack of political consciousness on American radio and in the Billboard charts. Even though his mix of reggae and classic blues has never translated to huge commercial success, over the past ten years he's amassed a solid collection of fans and critical accolades. Harper will perform such songs as "Faded" and "Diamonds on the Inside" with his band Innocent Criminals at Zenith on November 8. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
