Welcome Nagano!
Bayerische Staatsoper, Kent Nagano. The Japanese-American was born and studied in California. After stints in Boston, Lyon, Manchester and London, Nagano most recently made his mark at the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. During his six-year period of leadership, Nagano introduced German audiences to unusually inventive programming that included reconstructions of unfinished and rediscovered works. Munich music lovers look forward to witnessing (and hearing!)
