Circus Krone
April 1 is the last day to catch Europe’s largest circus in one of the world’s only permanent big tops. Led by the Sembach-Krone family since 1905, the circus enjoys the unusual possibility of performing in one place through the winter. Performers live in the “Circus City,” which houses a school, workshops, kitchens and more. In between rotating programs, they also present famous annual charity performances for local actors and artists. This March, more than thirty acrobats, animal trainers, and clowns from a dozen countries will share “The Magic of the Bigtop” with audiences just a few more times before embarking on their annual summer tour.
