International Stamp Show
The MOC Center Munich-Freimann will be the stamping grounds for a horde of philatelists from March 1 to 3. During the International Stamp Show, more than
100 exhibitors from Germany and abroad will display their collections of rare
and unusual stamps. A special exhibition on “Stamps that Don’t Actually Exist” will feature items that were recalled shortly before issue: a stamp created
in case Germany won the World Cup, for example. Experts will be on hand to advise newcomers and present lectures on a wide range of topics related to stamp collecting. The show is free, and open from 10 am to 6 pm, and until 4 pm on Saturday. For more information see www.briefmarken-messe.de. MOC München Freimann is
located near U6 Kieferngarten.
