Newcomers Festival
There’s little more trying than being the new kid in town, especially if you’re no longer a kid. Juggling the bureaucratic, financial, and emotional issues that come along with any big move leaves little time for getting to know a new hometown or its residents. On Sunday, May 6, at the Praterinsel, the 5th annual Newcomers Festival will seek to introduce Munich’s new residents to the city’s offerings and each other. This year, the popular event will host 55 exhibitors: clubs, churches, schools, and companies or institutions to help new arrivals get settled. Stop by to meet the MUNICH FOUND staff! Admission is free, and the hall will be open from 1 pm to 6 pm.
