July 2007

The city’s about to head off for its summer break, but those who have to stay behind can find some fun at the upcoming Jakobidult. The triannual Dults are a true Munich tradition. On Mariahilfsplatz, you’ll be far from the tourist crowds and free to pick through dozens of antique stands, bins of kitchen appliances, and discount clothing stands in peace. After a spin on the carousel or a Steckerlfisch and Brez’n, you’ll wonder why anyone would vacation somewhere else. The Dult will be open daily from 9 am, July 28 to August 5.
