Marathon Changes Direction
The 22nd Munich Marathon will kick off at 10 am on October 14 and take a new clockwise route through city streets. It still starts at Olympic Park and the home stretch passes through the Marathon Gate, with the last lap being run on the Olympic Stadium track. The route includes the Siegestor, the English Garden, Rosenheimer Platz, Marienplatz, Königsplatz and Leopoldstrasse. Online registration ends September 30, but you can also sign up onsite for the event.
