Concerts with a Twist
The “Münchner Schlosskonzerte” (Munich Castle Concerts) series continues on November 11 in Nymphenburg Palace’s Hubertussaal. Light classical music is combined with British Teatime featuring cucumber sandwiches, prince regent petit-fours, scones with clotted cream and raspberry marmalade. Teatime starts at 4:30 pm, to set the mood for the concert at 6. Tickets are € 52 and € 59. The VinoKlassik concert at the enchanting Garden Hall of the Prinzregententheater offers wine lovers a chance to double their pleasure with a classical concert and a wine-tasting in one magic evening. At 7 pm on November 8, the program focuses on Romantic composers, including music from Mendelssohn, Puccini und Donizetti. Tickets are € 59 and € 66. See

Among the best of Munich’s atmospheric performance spaces—the Hofkirche of the Residenz—will host the Salzburg Concert Ensemble on November 25 for a performance of Mozart’s Requiem. The concert begins at 5 pm, and tickets are € 31 to € 53. <<<
