Thrilling Dinners
Over the last few years, a new dining trend has surfaced in Munich.
Gourmet Klassik at the Prinzregententheater extends a monthly invitation to chamber music and excellent food. There are regular events at Schloss Nymphenburg’s Hubertussaal combining opera and cuisine. But without doubt, the Dine & Crime theater company offers the most thrilling of all cultural dining events. The company’s so called “Murder Mystery Dinners” take place at various Munich restaurants, where a four-course dinner is framed by a turbulent crime story. In February,
Dine & Crime will stop at the following locations: On February 1 “Murder in the Abbey Benifizius” will be performed at Ikarus in the MUC airport. Tickets cost
€ 79. The play “Candlelight Killers” will be staged at the Aumeister (Sondermeierstr. 1) on February 21 for € 59 per dinner. Finally, the “The Secret of Ponte dell’Olio” will be presented at Könglicher Hirschgarten (Hirschgarten 1, € 79) on February 24 and at Gaststätte Leiberheim (Nixenweg 9,
€ 84) on February 28. All events start at 7:30 pm. For reservations and further details, visit
