Carfree Skiing

As is commonly known, skiing is not the most environmentally friendly of all winter sport activities. Still, there are possibilities to reduce the damage done. AutobusOberbayern, for example, offers daily bus tours to attractive Alpine destinations. Modern ecologically compatible busses drive ski enthusiasts to Spitzingsee, Hochzillertal-Hochfügen, as well as to St. Johann and Mattrei in Tyrol. The one-day-trips cost € 34 to 52, including lift passes and a Brezn and coffee breakfast. Children and adolescents may join the ride at reduced prices and are also allowed to travel alone, though no further supervision service is offered during the day. Busses depart between 6 am and 8 am from Heidemannstr. 220 near U6 Kieferngarten, and also stop in front of the Karstadt department store at Bahnhofsplatz.
