Newcomers Festival
Getting acclimated to a new living environment on your own has its exciting moments, but some parts are just easier with a little help. To assist new arrivals get off to a good start in Munich and Bavaria, the sixth annual Newcomers Festival will host an exhibition of services, clubs and organizations, as well as seminars and workshops on living and working in the region. Just in time for the festival, a special “Newcomers Guide” will also be published, which will take readers step by step through the process of getting settled in Germany. The guide will be distributed at international bookshops, train stations and at the festival itself, which will take place on April 27 at Praterinsel. For further information, visit
