BeMe Theater
The BeMe Theater, known for its cutting-edge and cross-cultural performances, will stage a prize-wining play by the Canadian writer Ann-Marie MacDonald at the Amerika Haus this month. From May 7 to May 10,
Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) will shift the key of two well-known Shakespearian tragedies, transforming them into a raucous comedy.
Othello and
Romeo and Juliet will provide the base materials for a witty satire on themes that have no expiring date: war, gender, sexuality and more. Performances start at 8 pm, and there will be an additional morning performance on May 8, at 10:30 am. Tickets cost € 12–15. <<<
