Wildpark Poing

In search of a relaxing and educational field trip destination that won’t empty out your wallet? The Wildpark Poing offers perfect leisure entertainment for children and adults, just outside of Munich. For nearly 50 years, the park has been home to a whole community of forest dwellers: red and roe deer, lynxes and wolves, birds in aviaries, fish in ponds and even domesticated animals such as sheep, ponies and pot-bellied pigs. Halfway through the park, there is a picnic area with a playground for your own little animals. A perfect end of the tour through the park is the birds of prey show, scheduled Sunday through Thursday at 10:30 am, 11 am and 3 pm. Wildpark Poing is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. Entrance tickets cost € 5.50 for adults and € 3.50 for children. Dogs are not allowed in the park, not even on a leash. To reach the park by car, take the A94 toward Passau and exit at Poing. The S2 toward Erding will also get you there. News and further information about the park are available at www.wildpark-poing.de. <<<
