Mini Munich
If we learn by doing, the best way to teach your kids to be responsible citizens is to let them try it for themselves! From August 5 to 18, the Event-Arena of Olympic Park will be home to Mini Munich: a miniature city, where children ages 7–15 may learn about the many facets of city life. Mini Munich will have an administration and its own currency—the “MiMü.” Kids take on jobs to earn money for food or any of the other goods produced within the little city’s cosmos.
There will be a university with junior professors, a theater, a city court and political activities that will culminate in elections. Each day, your grown-ups-in-training may choose their vocation at Mini Munich’s employment center from 11 am to noon. After that, children may work and play until 6 pm. Mini Munich is open Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information, visit
