A hi-tech exhibition promotes hydrogen energy as a plausible solution to pollution

Jules Verne, the 19th-century science fiction writer and visionary, predicted that hydrogen would become an important, inexhaustible source of energy. As with his dreams of space travel, Verne was right. The exhibition “Clean Energy,” sponsored by the Deutsches Museum and the BMW Group and presented at Theresienhöhe, features different aspects of this energy source that will shape the future of the automobile. With plenty of multimedia presentations, 3-D movies, models and original objects, visitors can go on an entertaining tour following the chain of the hydrogen cycle, from generating and storing it to using it to power cars. Mounted in futuristic surroundings, “Clean Energy” functions as one in a series of international projects on the future of the automobile organized by the EXPO in Hanover. “Clean Energy” will be held at the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum until October 31, daily 9 -19, Thurs. until 22.
