On the heels of last year’s We_Do
Verein-sponsored “Ostasinn-Jam”—
a first-time hip hop music event that raised a good deal of money for the project “Fountains for Ghana”—it is again time to party for a good cause. On April 6, the cultural organization for youth will throw the charity bash at the Muffathalle. Here, a first-class line up of celebrated DJs will surely spin their way to a second success. New York DJ Crazy Cuts, internationally acclaimed hip hop group DAS EFX and several German rap acts are among slated performers. While the hall pulsates for a purpose, local graffiti artists will demonstrate their spraying skills and the break dancing crew Step to Diz will dazzle donees. As all participating artists have agreed to perform for free, the entire entrance fee (€ 15 per person) will be donated to a project sponsored by Plan International that supports street children in Vietnam.
