Chili Cook-Off
For those who may have a hankering for a bowl of four-alarm chili and a quick line dance before heading off to the “Long Night of Books”—or for those who wish to attend a reading prior to saddling up and moseying over to a hoe down— Saturday, June 15, is the date to mark on the calendar. Brandon Bichler, founder of the Texas Chili Preservation Society, invites the public to visit his third annual Chili Cook-off to be held at the Zic Zac beer garden on Rosenheimerstr., beginning at 1 pm. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner, second and third place cooks will win prizes. A non-profit event that promises music, food and fun into the evening, its proceeds will
go to next year’s cook-off.
Admission costs € 4, or € 15 for admission plus a voucher good for 4 Mass of beer.
