Better than perusing Gala or Hello: if you want the lowdown on the life of ex-Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, see him in person at the Münchner Bücherschau on November 14 at the Gasteig. Wyman will be presenting his new book, Rolling Stones Story—a collection of pictures taken of the Stones over the last 40 years—and talking about his experiences with the band. If rock and roll leaves you cold, there are plenty of other authors and events at the 43rd Munich book show, which you may find of interest. Armin Müller-Stahl, for example, will spend an evening talking (in German) about his experiences as an actor, artist and violinist, and there are musical events and competitions for children.
