Every year the Internationale Handwerksmesse (Trade Fair for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) features a number of special shows, and this year is no exception. Have you ever wanted to know the ins and outs of the bakery trade? Then visit the “Gläserne Backstube,” where professional bakers will show you tricks of the trade. Afterwards you can go to the Café-Bar next door and sample cookies and cakes of your choice. If you are a food-lover but prefer savory to sweet dishes, then you should drop in where sausage-making is explained, at the “Gläserne Wurstküche.” Finally, anyone interested in cars and jobs involving cars can visit the show “Berufe rund ums Auto,” where every aspect of the car industry is explained in detail and experts are on hand to offer advice to anyone considering working in this line of business. Needless to say, the fair also features hundreds of other stands showing innovative technology and crafts and offering tips on how to run a company.
