From Wednesday, April 30 until Thursday, May 8, you can enjoy the Canadian Film Days. Despite the fact that Canadian films feature at international film festivals, they are not often shown in German cinemas. For this reason the Amerika Haus, München, in cooperation with the Canadian Embassy, Berlin, the German American Institutes Tübingen and Nuremberg and the Royal-Filmpalast have organized this special film event. The movies, most of which are very recent, will give cinema-goers the chance to see how Canadian films have developed over the last few years. Independently produced pictures are included as well as those that have received international recognition. All films will be shown at the Royal-Filmpalast, Goetheplatz 2, in the original version and introduced by an expert on Canadian films.
