In case you are still looking for reasons to visit one of the most idyllic locations in the countryside around Munich, Seefeld Palace near the Ammersee, here is one: the Green Gallery, an exhibition venue featuring mainly contemporary Scottish art. Alongside the museum, cinema, shops and restaurant positioned around the charming, cobbled courtyard of the castle, art lovers will now be able to look at and buy from a constantly changing exhibition of contemporary Scottish art. There are four exhibitions planned for this year alone. Many of the painters featured have already received international acclaim and, in some cases, commissions can be arranged. The Green Gallery opens on May 3. For more information call the owner, Linda Johnston, at (08152) 79 41 50.
