Staying Power
Though many of us expats living in Bavaria like to complain now and again about life here, such as the weather and the traffic, in truth most of us love our
Wahlheimat (home of choice), the beautiful city of Munich, the wonderful countryside, beer gardens in summer and skiing in winter. If you are new in Munich and would like to find out just how much Bavaria has to offer, not only
in terms of leisure activities but also as a location to work, the Newcomers Festival has been created especially with you in mind. Sponsored by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, it will be held at the M.O.C., on Lilienthalallee 40, Munich-Freimann on Sunday, May 18, from
1 to 6 pm. There will be three types of exhibitor. Category one includes companies such as airlines, relocation agencies and financial planners; category two covers non-profit organizations like churches, professional associations and schools; and category three comprises state and city institutions.
