After the resounding success of last year’s Design Parcours—a kind of design paper chase around Munich—Bayern Design, which is organizing this year’s event, opted for a thematic approach. “Design and the Senses” is the unifying theme of all the exhibits on display in the city from July 7 to 13. If you thought design was only about smart furniture and expensive accessories you should visit the Rathaus-Galerie at Marienplatz, where a series of lectures will be held (in German) by a cosmetic surgeon, a sound designer, a marketing specialist and a fashion designer.
