Art Coach
From September to November a coach service
will take art-lovers from Munich to Venice to visit
Biennale di Venezia, which this year celebrates its
50th International Art Exhibition, with the theme “Dreams and Conflicts: The Dictatorship of the Viewer.” An interdisciplinary cultural society, the Venice Biennale encompasses the visual arts, architecture, dance, music, theater and cinema, and organizes the International Architecture Exhibition, the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica, the Venice
Film Festival and live performances. It is not only a
large exhibition center, but also a workshop for artistic education and production. Considered to be the “exhibition of exhibitions,” this year’s Biennale features works of artists from more than 60 countries. Until November 2 exhibitions can be seen in the Arsenale, the historic Giardini della Biennale, the Museo Correr in San Marco and at various locations around Venice, making it bigger than any previous Biennale exhibition. From Munich (package price from € 182 per person, including bus tour to Venice, accommodation for two nights and one Bienniale Combination Ticket) the bus operates from September 11 to 15, October 9 to 13 and October 30 to November 3. Rather fly? ART CITIES IN EUROPE also offers flight packages. For further information call (0)753 190 730 or book tickets at
