Attention book fans! Saturday, November 8, will see the grand opening of Munich’s first English Used Bookshop. The team of enthusiasts identified the huge demand for English reading material and have gathered around 4,000 books from all genres. Although the store does not buy books, it is possible to exchange old titles for credit towards new ones, which is a great way to recycle. The shop will also sell refreshments and give visitors the opportunity to browse the stock and reserve books online. As the team also have other jobs, the shop will initially be open only afternoons, although volunteers are welcome to lend a hand. Opening hours are Thursday and Friday, 4-8 pm and Saturday 2-6 pm.
