a few happy hours examining decorative objects and tableware, produced by the venerable Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory. Most pieces have a tiny flaw—though this is often
more or less invisible to the naked eye—
and you can buy pieces that are up to 50 percent
cheaper than shop-sold “perfect” items. And, if you are searching for older crockery, there are plenty of “left-overs” from discontinued lines.
